First of all, I would like to say I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU to all of you. This weekend was absolutely amazing. After six Youth & Government conferences, I really didn't think Y&G could get any better, but you all really proved me wrong. For those of you who couldn't make it, we missed you SO much, and you were there in our hearts and minds. CONGRATULATIONS to Alex Peterson (Statewide Chaplain), Bonnie Vivatnamongkon & Rachel Axelrad (Committee Chairs). These positions are all very challenging and prestigious, and I know you'll be amazing! Also, Sergio Calix made us all incredibly proud this weekend-- his speech and answers at the Meet The Candidate session were truly inspiring, and I know we're all so glad he's part of our delegation. Great job Sergio!
Now that Bob 1 is past us, Bill Night is only two weeks away! Make sure you're inviting lots of people! For those of you bringing Silent Auction items, please bring them to Thursday's meeting, or to Pat's room on Tuesday, November 18th between 6:30 & 7:30. On the day of Bill Night, please report to the front of the Ronald Reagan Library (by the fountain) by 4:15, so we can get set up and ready. Also, be researching your bills and preparing your speeches! You should know who your speakers and sponsors are, so please begin preparing (if you don't remember, contact Roxanne). I have a really good feeling about this event, and I think it's going to be amazing!
On a completely random and seperate note, the statewide Y&G people are creating a new & improved calymca.org, and they'd like our help! Please submit (you can just respond to me and I'll get them where they need to go) a few sentences on "How Has Y&G Impacted Your Life?" I'm sure this will come with little difficulty, especially after this amazing weekend. Make them good, because they will feature some on the new Y&G website! Woo!
Lovelovelove you all.
